Why it worksLemonade is sour, sweet and pale. Hibiscus pearls add a floral, tart note and turn the glass pink as they go down.

What you need

  • Hibiscus pearls1 vial
  • Lemon1, juiced
  • Sugar syrup20 ml
  • Cold water or soda200 ml
  • Iceto the top

Method

pearls last, always
  1. Lemon and syrup stirred into the water until nothing is grainy.
  2. Ice to the top.
  3. Pearls over the ice so they drift down slowly.
