The short version

Nothing is for sale on this website today. When it is, every order will be a pre-order, and you will be able to cancel for a full refund at any time until it ships.

Who you are buying from

Pova Pearls is a pre-launch venture run by six founders in Gurgaon. There is no registered company yet and none is being registered. There is therefore no entity name, registered address, GSTIN or food licence number to print — and until there is, this website cannot and does not take money.

Those details will be printed here before any order is taken. Until then, the contact page reaches a person.

What we sell

One thing: a single-serve vial of Hibiscus popping pearls with electrolytes. Nothing else is offered, and there is no other flavour on sale.

The vial shown on this website is the design for batch one, and the finished pack may differ from it in small ways. The label on the real vial will carry the ingredients, the allergens, the nutrition information, the licence numbers, the net quantity, the MRP, the batch number and the date to use it by — and that label, not this website, is the complete description of the product. Read it before you eat anything.

Nothing on this website is a health or medical claim.

Whether you can order today

While the site is in launch-window mode — which is how it is running now — there is no checkout. Every button that would take money takes an email address or a phone number instead, so that we can tell you when there is something to buy. Leaving your details costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

If and when orders open

Every order will be a pre-order, which means all of this:

• We take the order before the batch is packed.
• No dispatch date is promised. We do not have a written lead time from the manufacturer, so we do not print a month. When we have one, it will be on the product page and in your order confirmation, and if it moves we tell you.
• You can cancel for a full refund at any time until your order ships. No reason, no form. The refunds page says how.

Prices

Prices are in Indian rupees. The price you see on the product page is the price of the vial. Anything charged on top of it — delivery, or anything else — is stated at checkout before you pay, and you see the total before you commit to it. If we get a price wrong on the site we will tell you before anything is dispatched, and you can cancel for a full refund.

There is no discount code, no membership rate, no points scheme and no prize on this website.

Placing an order

When orders open: you choose how many vials, give us the details needed to deliver them, and pay in whatever way is offered at checkout. An order number is our acceptance of your order. We can decline or cancel an order — for example if we cannot supply it, if we cannot deliver to your address, or if we think it is fraudulent — and if we do, anything you have paid comes back in full.

Delivery

Where we can deliver, what it costs and how long it takes are stated at checkout before you pay. No delivery time is promised on this page because we have not appointed anyone to deliver anything yet.

Food safety at your end

Store the vial as the label tells you to, do not use it after the date printed on it, and check the seal before you eat. If anything looks or smells wrong, do not eat it — tell us through the contact page, with the batch number from the vial, and we will replace it or refund it.

Your information

What the website collects, and what happens to it, is on the privacy policy. It is short, because the website collects very little.

Photographs you send us

If you send us a photograph or a note about Pova Pearls and tell us we may use it, we will use it with credit, and we will take it down whenever you ask. We do not pay for reviews and we do not have any.

Our responsibility

If something we sold you is faulty, we replace it or refund it. Beyond that, what we owe you for any order is limited to what you paid for it, except where Indian law does not allow that limit.

Complaints

Tell us through the contact page. A person reads it. When there is a registered company there will be a named grievance officer with their own contact details, printed here.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and nothing in them limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.

Changes

When these terms change, the date at the top changes. The terms in force when you order are the ones that apply to that order. This is still a working draft and a lawyer has not read it.
