Hibiscus Iced Tea
the jug you keep going
- 8 min + chilling
- 2 glasses
- some prep
- Hibiscus

Why it worksIced tea goes thin as the ice melts. Pearls keep the last mouthful as tart as the opening one.
What you need
- Hibiscus pearls2 vials
- Black tea, brewed strong and chilled300 ml
- Honeyto taste
- Orange2 thin slices
- Iceto the top
Method
pearls last, always- Brew the tea strong, sweeten it while it is warm, then chill it properly.
- Ice and an orange slice in each glass, tea over.
- Pearls in last, and don't stir hard.
The tea must be fridge-cold before the pearls go in. Lukewarm tea softens them.

One vial is one serving, so this recipe counts pearls by the vial rather than in grams — the fill is still being set with our manufacturer. Nothing on this page is a claim about what the pearls do.
